I have been involved in complementary therapies for over 25 years and have practised as a massage therapist and spiritual healer. I have also worked for the London Borough of Barnet as a bereavement counsellor and I was a student counsellor at a college of Further Education where I taught English to foreign students.

One of my interests is in the field of psychotherapy; I am trained as a person-centred counsellor and I run a counselling practice in North London (http://www.ashbournecounsellingcentre.co.uk).

My main source of inspiration for my work as a homeopath comes from my personal journey of self-discovery as well as my own healing process after an illness when I turned to homeopathy after conventional medicine failed to help me.

I have always enjoyed working with individuals on a deep level and am experienced in dealing with all kinds of personal issues. I endeavour to create a confidential, non-judgmental and trusting relationship in which clients can feel safe about opening up and are able to explore sometimes painful emotional areas.
